If no author is given, start with the title.

EX: Jacobs, Alan. The Pleasures of Reading in an Age of Distraction. Oxford UP, 2011.

Note: the 8th edition of the MLA Handbook says that italics is "normally" used for titles.  The 7th edition was against anything but italics for titles.
