International Student Services: Document Requests

I-20 Updates & Document Requests

During your time at McNeese, if you need to update the information on your I-20 or request documentation for a particular purpose, our International Student Services office is here to help. Please see the table below for information on requesting updates or documents.  

 

Request 

Steps 

Address / Phone Change 

  • Update your information in Banner. 

Change Major 

  • Contact your advisor to change majors. 

Enrollment Verification 

  • Go to Banner Self-Service > Student > Student Records > Request Enrollment Verification.  

  • If you need a letter that also confirms your F-1 status and schedule, please fill out this form

Extend Program End Date 

  • Contact your advisor to receive a letter stating the reason for the extension.  

  • Gather your sponsor’s bank statement and a new affidavit of support.  

Reduced Course Load 

  • If you need to take less than a full course load in your final semester, please complete this form.  

Social Security Number 

Social Security Rejection 

  • If you need a letter that shows your ineligibility for a social security number, email internationaloffice@mcneese.edu with your name, MSU ID, and request.  

Transfer Out Request 

  • Email the completed Transfer Out form, along with a copy of your acceptance letter from the new university, to intinfo@mcneese.edu

Travel Signature 

  • Email internationaloffice@mcneese.edu to request a new travel endorsement. Please note that we cannot provide travel endorsements for students with unpaid balances.
