International Student Services: Document Requests

Request 

Steps 

Address / Phone Change 

• Update your information in Banner. 

• Email internationaloffice@mcneese.edu with your new address or phone number. Please include our full name and student ID in the email.  

Change Major 

• Contact your advisor to change majors. 

• Once the change is complete, email internationaloffice@mcneese.edu to receive a new I-20 stating your updated major.  

Enrollment Verification 

• Go to Banner Self-Service > Student > Student Records > Request Enrollment Verification.  

• If you need a letter that also confirms your F-1 status and schedule, please fill out this form. 

Extend Program End Date 

• Contact your advisor to receive a letter stating the reason for the extension.  

• Gather your sponsor’s bank statement and a new affidavit of support.  

• Email the above documents to internationaloffice@mcneese.edu to receive your updated I-20.  

Reduced Course Load 

• If you need to take less than a full course load in your final semester, please complete this form.  

• If you need to take less than a full course load in any other semester, please email internationaloffice@mcneese.edu to discuss your situation.  

Social Security Number 

• Contact our Human Resources team at humanresources@mcneese.edu. 

Social Security Rejection 

• If you need a letter that shows your ineligibility for a social security number, email internationaloffice@mcneese.edu with your name, MSU ID, and request.  

Transfer Out Request 

• Work with your new university to complete the Transfer Out form.  

• Email the completed Transfer Out form, along with a copy of your acceptance letter from the new university, to intinfo@mcneese.edu. 

Travel Signature 

• Email internationaloffice@mcneese.edu to request a new travel endorsement. Please note that we cannot provide travel endorsements for students with unpaid balances.
