The Carolina Reaper Pepper is currently the Hottest pepper on the planet.  Measured by Scoville Heat Units (SHU), itself a form of measuring capsaicin, the Guiness Book of Records awarded the title in 2013 to the Carlina Reaper, a hybrid of ghost and habonero peppers.

The Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science is a concentration in one of the following three areas: Dietetics, Food Technology, or Nutritional Sciences.


There is a graduate program offering a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Nutrition and Wellness.
