Citation Style Guides: Wildlife

General Notes and Links

The Journal of Wildlife Management generally follows the CSE citation (Name-Year/ Harvard system) style.  The editors recommend authors follow CSE Style Manual for their content.

The Journal of Wildlife Management does require some basic writing and citation styles. The PDF is rather large.  You need to do some scrolling to reach the format and style sections.

Please note that in pertaining to citations, The Journal of Wildlife Management requires hanging citations, meaning that you should indent the second, third, etc. lines of each citation to distinguish between references.

Also, unlike CSE Style, which lists citations on a Cited References page, the Journal of Wildlife Management requires the citation page to be labeled Literature Cited.
