While the library is in Parra, only a limited number of items are available immediately. You can can request books still stored in the Frazar Memorial Library using the Request Materials link above.

Select Leisure Reading Books
The following is a sample of the leisure reading books currently available. They are located on the New Releases shelves near the Circulation Desk. For more information about new resources, click here to visit the Acquisitions Department page.
New digital scanner now available!
The library staff is please to announce the addition of a new digital scanner purchased for student use acquired through TASC. The new scanner allows students to quickly scan books, artwork, documents, articles and more in a variety of sizes up to 11" X 17". These searchable scans can be saved as pdfs, jpeg or PNG images, or rich-text formatted documents.
Scanned files can be saved directly to a USB drive, uploaded to Google Docs, or transferred to a smart phone or tablet. The new scanner is located in the public services area of the temporary library facilities in Para Ballroom. No reservation is needed to use the scanner, but library staff is available to help if needed. Please come in and use this new technology!
New Journal published by the University of Louisiana System
The Journal of Service-Learning in Higher Education is an online, international, peer-reviewed journal for the dissemination of original research regarding effective institutional-community partnerships. Its primary emphasis is to provide an outlet for sharing the methodologies and pedagogical approaches that lead to effective community-identified outcomes.
The Library has Moved!
The Frazar Library has been relocated to the Parra Ballroom in the New Ranch.
The library will be serving students, faculty and staff of McNeese State University in its new location while undergoing at 24-month scheduled renovation.
